Solan Haurun

A rava viera who is tall for his race, broad of shoulder and trim of hips. He is clearly more muscular than most of his fellow viera, broader and thicker. If you get close enough, there is a bit of softness around his belly, just enough to make the lines of his abs a mere suggestion.

Wavy navy locks are tipped with white, the colouring mirrored in his ears. His fur is long and the white tufts of his ears are long and pronounced, flicking and swaying with his movements.

Eyes of jade glimmer and gleam with untold secrets, warm and bright.

His sun-kissed skin tells of not only his Golmoran Jungle heritage, but of the time he spends travelling.

There are feathers tattooed upon his cheeks in the shade of seafoam green, a lingering remnant of his tribe.

Faint, barely there scars decorate his chest, his back, and his belly, looking suspiciously like badly yet quickly healed wounds left by a vicious whip.

There is a feather in his hair, pinned near the base of his left ear. It is delicate, clean, a swan feather of the purest white. Some might notice that there is a matching feather in the hair of one of his closest associates, one enigmatic veena viera who simply goes by "Fell".

Though Solan can always be seen with his gem-tipped cane, a sharp-eyed observer will also notice a pair of daggers hidden at his hips or the small of his back.

At Magic's Horizon Several decades of cloistered education amongst the Conjurer's Guild has given Solan an incredible education in natural magicks and aetheric healing. One need only see the ease with which he manipulates the elements to know. Though lacking in the formal education customary to Sharlayan scholars, Solan more than makes up for it with sheer magickal skill.

Formerly of the Conjurer's Guild Some decades past, Solan called the Conjurer's Guild home and its Guildmaster his mentor. But certain events caused him to leave Stillglade Fane and never look back. One might recognise the make of his cane, the colours he yet wears, the magic he weaves.

Twin Blades One might find Solan roaming the lower decks of Limsa Lominsa in the early hours of the morning, clad in black and blue with wicked blades at his hips. They look blood-stained, as does the rag he tosses into a nearby torch. A roegadyn man greets him as he nears a nondescript door and he returns the greeting, disappearing into its depths. Might you know him, perhaps, as the Blue Rabbit?

A Forgotten Beginning Viera live long lives, for weal or woe, and Solan feels as though his life has been more woe than most. Having come to Eorzea from his native Golmore Jungle at the tender age of 17, Solan has lived in Eorzea for most of his life. His memories of the Homeland are faded, an echo of an echo. All that remains of his tribe are the seafoam green feathers tattooed upon his cheeks, a customary marking given to those who reach puberty.

Slaver Hunter One will not find a man more abhorred by the practice of slavery than Solan. Any slaver worth their salt have heard of the Blue Rabbit, and woe betides those who cross his path. (If one looks closely, the faint scars across his bared chest look like those left by a whip.)
